Crawfish Prices Are Slowly Dropping

I have good news and I have bad news. Let’s start with the bad news. Crawfish prices are currently 42% over the 10-year average for this time of year. The good news?…

Prices are slowly dropping. Our friends at KADN News 15 have been tracking with the S&Peel 1500 and they report prices dropped 4% this week. That’s not Earth-shattering, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Recent rainfall will certainly help, which is good news with Easter just days away. The current average is about $7.50/lb. for boiled crawfish.

Here are some local prices for a 5 lb. order: Buck’s Crawfish $30.00, Cody’s Crawfish Shop $37.99, Coastal Fire & Ice $30.99 and Cooney’s Crawfish $37.95.  Bon appetit!
