Drew Brees is Louisiana’s favorite son. Brees could open a lemonade stand in Lafayette, and even people who are not fans of the lemon would stop just to support the New Orleans quarterback.
I often wondered what the heck is going on with the huge building at the corner of Verot School Road and Pinhook. I have seen some activity recently at the former church and grocery store. Now we know, Drew Brees is opening Surge Indoor Adventure Park in the old Winn Dixie location according to KATC-TV.
Kids love these indoor fun facilities. Parents love these also. It is a safe and secure indoor play area where the kids can get more than play time in, they can also exercise in an environment that is made safe for even the toughest kid. Surge Indoor Adventure will feature 42,000 square foot indoor sports and entertainment center. The kids will find trampolines to jump, laser tag, zip lines, and ninja courses. Other features are being discussed.
The opening is planned for October 2019. Job fairs are planned for the near future and you can keep up with the progress on the opening of SurgeĀ Indoor Adventure on their Facebook page.
