Sometimes one is all you need and with the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns on Saturday afternoon, that was the case in a 1-0 win over Coastal Carolina to win their 15th Sun Belt Conference Tournament title.

How It Happened:

The Cajuns wasted little time getting on the board with an RBI single from Alissa Dalton that scored Kara Gremillion. The Cajuns were poised to extend their lead in the sixth after Sarah Hudek was walked to load the bases. However, Bailey Curry grounded into a double play to end the inning.

Big Number: 2

Much like Friday afternoon’s game, Coastal Carolina’s two errors wound up being the difference between a monumental upset in the championship final and the Cajuns winning another Sun Belt Tournament.

Player of the Game: Summer Ellyson

Summer Ellyson earned the Sun Belt Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player with another complete game performance, allowing two hits and striking out seven on the afternoon.

Next Up: NCAA Tournament TBA
