The Eunice City Marshall’s office is accepting donations of fans for the needy and elderly in the community. With temperatures approaching 100 degrees, and heat indexes approaching 120, the weather poses a significant threat, especially to elderly citizens.
Fans can be dropped off at the City Marshall’s office, 300 S. 2nd St. You can also call 337-457-6580 to arrange pickup. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Area businesses are being asked to participate, as well as private citizens.
